geebee My Member is Well-Known #9 HX RAPTOR the Avet EX 4/02 compares better to the EX 30/2 - the HX Raptor is a different tool altogether (including price point for new and used) for example the EX 30/2 is 1.26 pounds heavier than the HX Raptor (Avet's number, not mine) the EX 30/2 has more conservative gear ratios than the HX Raptors the EX series is more tank-like in build the HW Raptors are rated 40-50lbs drag and 100lb line out of the box if an EX4/02 can be slightly tweaked to 30lbs drag then that puts it within a HX Raptor's 27lb sweet spot drag at strike (albeit at the top of its curve) 20lbs drag at strike is more pulling than a lot of people can muscle for a few minutes
